Pranayama, often called ‘Breath of Life,’ is a powerful addition to any yogi’s lifestyle. A form of ‘breathing meditation’ that calms and balances the mind can only enhance your life and even make the colors seem brighter! Join Joanie Delph for step-by-step instruction on a few, basic pranayama techniques suitable for all beings and see how you feel…you might love it!
Pranayama, the fourth Limb of yoga, invites us to learn profound breathing techniques that can expand our energetic level; help balance; improve sleep; enhance health; reduce anxiety/depression; relieve stress and more. In this workshop, Joanie will offer several pranayama techniques suitable for all, that can be done for 5, 10, 20 minutes a day to potentially bring about inner contentment and joy.

(Bolsters, blocks and blankets may be needed to aid in comfortable sitting and/or encourage participants to bring a cushion etc. Loose, comfortable clothing is helpful. Handouts will be given, but students are welcome to bring something to take notes with). Investment: $15.
